This side-lifting, 3ft single Ottoman bed frame has a Medium Oak finish, and is the perfect choice to increase the storage of any room without compromising on style. This bed frame can be fitted during assembly to open on either the left or right hand-side as per your preference and room requirements.

This Ottoman Storage Bed's framework (headboard and footboard posts, struts and top rails) is made from 100% Hevea. The side rails and the footboard panel are made from a high quality MDF, with a Medium Oak effect veneer applied to the bed frame.
The internal storage dividers are made from particleboard with a PU veneer - these are not removable as they add lateral support to the side rails. The Chester Medium Oak Ottoman Storage Bed Frame is finished with a lightweight and durable lacquer, protecting it over its lifetime.
The base of the storage area consists of 4 removable MDF panels topped with a PU veneer. These panels are optional and designed to protect your flooring. They also provide ease of access and cleaning of the under-bed storage area. These panels are simply placed on top of your floor and are not fixed in position, as a result there is no weight limit for the items that you can store underneath your bed frame.

Please Note
Due to the nature of the design, any side lifting ottoman with an inset mattress MUST feature a degree of clearance between the mattress and all sides of the bed frame itself. This is both to help prevent any snagging/trapping of the mattress and/or bedding around the frame, and also to allow adequate access to the lifting handle without risking trapped fingers.
The amount of clearance will be approximately 32.5mm (3.25cm) either side of the mattress, and 25mm (2.5cm) at each end of the mattress. Please be sure to refer to the dimensional drawings of this product (above).
The exact amount of clearance will be determined by the actual dimensions of your 3ft Single mattress, which can differ slightly between manufacturers (allowing for a slight tolerance), but should be approximately 190cm x 90cm.
